Notes
I named this piece coral for obvious reasons but it has another life - to me it suggests an animal - and as coral is an animal that works too. In my search for beauty in wood ravaged by insects and the sea - this was one of my real finds. It suggests to me a carved medieval screen. It is in fact part of a floor of a boat I found in Diani. This piece like all my boat work is above all else a homage to nature.
