Notes

From the floor of a large old Dugout canoe found in Nyali. This is a piece that immediately suggested itself and I wanted to leave it natural. Apart from a bit of judicious carving down the side to confirm her gender. The pointed head suggests the veils worn by the Swahili women at the coast. She needs to stand at the end of a corridor or chamber.
