Notes

Made from fragments of three different canoes, the piece at the front is the silver grey tip of fishing boat I found on the beach at Manda Island opposite Lamu, the others from Mombasa . The blue section was originally going to be a piece on its own and I had various other ideas for the other piece but in the end decided that they worked well together - I called it three worlds because for the me the piece evokes the beach, the night or the urban metropolis and the boat itself and the act of fishing.
