Conversation Piece

See my note for Buibui. This is mum and two daughters talking, all clad in the same buibui veils – I enjoyed modelling both the generous form of Mum and her more shapely daughters. The veils literally wrap the body up - highlighting pure form. The figure of mama owes a little bit to Rodin's statue of Balzac in which he is dressed in a cape.
